I love the way you tell it as it is! No matter how disciplined we are, we all have moments when we cave in the face of cravings! As long as we get back to the discipline then eventually we should get it right🤞
Tahia, I think you are exactly right. Getting back to the discipline is the goal. We can't live perfectly all the time, but if we can find our way back to the discipline and make that the rule rather than the exception, we're gonna be just fine!
I'm with you on the sugar! My kryptonite is usually ice cream, and my health suffered during lockdown when I was eating it every night for my "mental health." LOL. I'm currently on day 4 of limiting my added sugar intake for 4 weeks. Too soon to feel the effects, probably, but I am still tempted by the autumn mix candy corn bag my husband brought home from the store. It'll still be good at the end of the month. Ha!
I'm not a big pumpkin spice fan but the drink sounds good!
Lisa, I don't think your lockdown experience was unique--I'm pretty sure it created a whole generation of sugar addicts who are still trying to find their way back to "sobriety". All the best as you try to kick (or reduce) the habit. It's hard work but good work at the same time!
This is so good! I saw the quantity it made, so I debuted it to my book club; they loved it! It also made a delicious warm breakfast beverage for my fifth grader on the way to school on the first cold morning. Thank you!

I know all about that sugar addiction. Living with it, but I admire your journey!
Thanks, John! I appreciate the encouragement!
