Avocado toast on the side! Why didn't I think of that myself! Matt, you have just singlehandedly skyrocketed my experience of scrambled tofu. My humble thanks.
I am touched to see that my insight about your mom was correct--and that you are continuing to share more of her life and yours. I chuckled about her breakfasts. My mom's specialty was putting fried eggs on top of pancakes, which (for my taste) ruined them both. However, my kids usually had Pop Tarts, so I should probably be quiet now. I will check out the video later this afternoon! Thank you always, Maile, for brightening our weeks.
Karen, I'm with you. I don't usually have something spectacular for my children's breakfasts these days. I just make sure the cereal cupboard has options and there are always bagels in the bread drawer. Maybe they would prefer my childhood breakfasts instead!
A great portrait of your mama. To know her is to love her!!!
So true, Vern, so true!
100% on your Mom! To know her is to Love her! And yes, I remember those eggs!
I knew you could identify with this post, Nancy!
This is how I spoil myself on weekends! Tofu scramble is my jam (with some avocado toast on the side, of course) 🤤
